Recently replaced TCM due to tranny not shifting out of first, still have yet to service it and remove old/burnt fluid, but now whenever I give it any gas it will die. It'll run fine at idle, but when I mash the pedal it'll die. It's also a intermittent problem, sometimes it'll run fine and then it'll die on the next press on the road. Thoughts I've had - vacuum leak, if so, where do I need to check for one? Fuel pump going out, have a new one in hand but want to chase down other possible causes before replacing it.
Any help would be appreciated

Give me a call when you find your gauge and I will walk you through it. Takes about 5 mins to check the pressure. I have been thinking about it. I just don't really think its gonna be fuel related since you really didn't have any issues with it before (but never know). Are you sure that you didn't leave anything un plugged when you put the new TCM in? Vacuum sorta makes since. I would check the vacuum hoses around the MAP sensor first. You should hear a sucking sound when idling from a leaking hose. Also I wouldn't think it would be intermittent with a vacuum leak (but again you never know). Ill be in Camden next weekend I may be able to help you out if you don't get it by then.
