'98 sport Electrical question
Small black connector with no other end tucked away under my center console could it have something to do with my PRNDL letters not lighting up?

It can be for the lights. Do you have a light bulb plugged into the housing around the shifter indicator? I can't tell what the connector end looks like so I can't be 100% if that's for the light bulb or not.

have you pulled the cover off the shift indicator it just pulls right off there you will see the bulbs you need to replace, i think that connector is for the seat belt chime
