Default 98 power steering issue

So i had a leak in my gearbox. No problem put a brand new one in. Just to be safe i replaced the hoses. Now no matterwhat it leaks fluid out of the hoses where it goes into the gear box. Suggestions?

Is it leaking right at the fittings? Take them back out and look at the lip and seat to make sure nothing cracked or deformed, no dirt in there, etc. Did the old hoses leak with the new steering box, or did you change both at once?

I changed both at once. They were original, couldnt get them off the old box to see if they had o rings. Old hoses did not leak. The new ones leak right at where the hose goes into the fitting. I have the fitting on as tight as it will go
