Hello all, ok this one is killing me i cant figure it out. the power locks are not working this is what is happening. When the power is off the key is not in the ignition the drivers side door will lock but not unlock, the passenger side door will do both lock and unlock. when power is turned on the drivers side will not work at all and the passenger side will only lock. I have replaced both the drivers module and the passenger side module. i have checked the fuses the relay i have shot all the wires and have gotten good continuity, even through the doors so its not any broken wires which is a common problem, i get a good 12v to the PDM and get a good 12v to the PDM when power is applied i however do not get a constant 12v to the DDM but i do get 12v when power is applied(i really don't know if the DDM is supposed to have a constant 12v) why it only works somewhat when no power is applied and not at all when power is applied is driving me crazy any help or advice i could get would be appreciated

 

Problem was broken wires in between the door and body

 

I was just about to post then I saw your reply. You are correct, the power door locks get power all the time. It's the windows that need the key on.
