98 parts on 91 cherokee

I am so glad I found this forum! I just bought a 91 Cherokee that needs lots if work. I am wondering if a 98 rear hatch will fit on my 91. I found one on craigslist really cheap. Thanks.

Nope the 97 and newer XJs went through a pretty major body change. The hatch on the newer XJs is steel and the hatches on the 84-96 XJs are fiberglass. The good news is any harch on an 84-96 XJ will fit your 91. That goes along with pretty much an of the other body pieces as well.
