well i got a new oil pressure switch and now the reading is about 40 when i drive and like 13 when at idle i dont think that right. any ideas?

also i just replaced my o2 sensor and the code keeps poping up even after i pulled the negative to reset the computer. does anybody know why help me please?

 

The dash guage is not accurate by any means...But 13 psi is normal for idle (i think 9-12 is normal) and 40 is fine for driving.

 

The code doesn't disappear until 50 starts without the problem recurring. If you want to remove any codes immediately, remove both bat cables and hold them together for 5 sec.'s then reconnect the battery. You'll have to take the Jeep for a good drive so that it can relearn the parameters. Code 12 will show anytime you disconnect the battery.
