98 cherokee
Hey guys, I own a 98 jeep cherokee and it started to die every time it rains or every time i go to the car wash. recently the car started to have really rough idle and dies. I changed the spark plugs, the wires, the distributor cap and rotor. still have this problem, if anyone knows what wrong please help

Not really. Your throttle body and IAC may need cleaned. The IAC may need replaced even after cleaning.

So I cleaned the throttle body and the IAC and the car still have the same problem. The weird thing about the car since it started to do like that I started to smell a gasoline smell after I shut it off. I don't know if there is a problem with the fuel filter or the fuel pump.
the car slightly better after I clean the throttle body and IAC. And I cleaned all the electrical connectors. The car still rev hard at idle, but didn't die, and I noticed black smoke from the exhaust.
