98 AX-15 clutch pedal will not move !!

Default 98 AX-15 clutch pedal will not move !!

91 xj with a 98 AX-15 tranny swap ---so got a problem with my clutch ... last week i snapped the fitting on the rod that connectes to the clutch pedal ... so replaced it ... put it all together and boom clutch pedal is so hard its bending the rod ... ok so i removed the ext slave cylinder thinking it must be bad... wrong ...with it out the transmission it works fine .... so pulled the transmission every thing looks good ... WTF also i think i need my clutch pedal rewelded ......SOB any one every have this problem

x2 check the clutch master if you haven't already. Does it move at all out make any noise?

Changed it and still the same .. With slave cylinder in mc rod will not move ! With slave out works perfect ! Also inspected clutch fork , throw out bearing and clutch ! All looks good

Disconect the fork from the throwout bearing and see if you have movement in the clutch pedal.

Throw out bearing seized on the bearing retainer?

Thats what i'm thinking. Or clutch welded itself to the pressure plate. OP, were you doing any "spirited driving" before this happened?

Ripped whole tranny out ! Even removed clutch pressure plate all good ! Started looking in side and found clutch pedal ****ed up ! One side cracked and the weld was broke but not completely broke off ! Off to jy to find one ! Hope that was the problem ! I'm a pro at removing transmissions now
