I have 97 xj that runs great when you you start it in the morning or after it sits and cools. When it gets up to temp it acts like it is running out gas and starts popping and backfires. If you push it to the floor it runs wide open then when you level off it does the same thing again. When this happens I can put it in neutral and the idle drops to 2 to 400 rpms it will almost cut off then the idles jumps back up and it runs greats for a mile and starts it all over again. Like i said it will run great at full throttle. Can anyone help me understand this. I scanned it and only pulled a bad 02 sensor. P0132 P0138.
