Can anyone confirm that this ductwork actually exists in a 97 xj 4 door with manual transmission.

Surely someone with a manual transmission has removed the console and remembers if this ductwork was there......

 

My parts guide lists for the '97 only the LHD 4wd with a part number but it's the same for the '98 LHD both 2wd and 4wd. It doesn't mention auto vs manual.

Center consoles also show same part number for '97 and '98 with different bezels for auto vs manual.

Does your console have the vents in the back?

 

I can confirm that my 99 4 door 2wd 5-speed had that tube. So did my 01 2wd auto. Pretty sure every +97 had it.
