Uh-oh, that can't be good!
My rear doors won't unlock with the power locks or the manual locks. If I flip the switch, I can hear both actuators working, and they sound normal. If I use the manual switch, it feels normal.
But the doors won't open.
Nobody is 'fessing up, but I suspect my two youngest ones were getting into the Jeep and somebody was working the door latch at the same moment somebody was trying to unlock it. I've seen that break more than one door lock mechanism. Both doors stopped working at the same time, so the coincidence is a bit much.
Any suggestions for getting into the interior of the doors so I can figure out what's going on? It looks like a real bear with the door closed.

there should be a rod in the door panel that connects the lock actuator to the actual lock on the door. If that's bent at all or even the least bit out of the form it's supposed to be the actuator can't unlock it due to the rod putting too much pressure on it or the lock. Found that out the hard way a while back and had to reshape it to get it to work correctly.

Have you tried opening the doors from the inside?
Even if the Child Protection lock levers were pushed down you should be able to unlock the doors electrically or open them from the outside if unlocked electrically.
