Default 97+ kick panel fuse box ground location?

Does anyone know if I need to take everything apart to get to the ground for the kick panel fuse box on the passenger side?

What ground?

There's no independent ground just for the JB.

I'm having a lot of electrical problems with components whose fuses are in that box so I figured that however it is wired or grounded there might be something lose or corroded.

You may be right in thinking there's corrosion in the JB.

Perhaps you should inspect the JB for corrosion. Here's a few pics of a badley corroded JB.

Before working on the JB disconnect the battery ground (-) cable.

Here's a pic that shows how to access the JB.

Remove each connector and inspect the connector socket on the JB for corrosion, and inspect each harness connector for corrosion.

Well I've taken apart all the plastic kick panels and everything near the dash, pulled all the fuses, traced some wires and I haven't really turned up anything. I believe my problem lies within the circuit that is completed when all the doors are shut because when one or two doors are open, everything is fine but as soon as they are all closed the engine starts running poorly, one brake light is dimly lit and the windows won't work.

That is an odd problem.

Did you pull connectors off the JB to inspect for corrosion?

Have to cleaned all the ground points in the engine bay? If not, I can post pictures of where they are located.

Haven't pulled the connectors on the jb, but I spent some good time cleaning the main grounds two days ago especially the braided one from the engine block. Didn't do anything to help the problem lol.

I don't have experience with this, but I read somewhere on here about someone with the same problem. They said it was the main ground wire in the doors that was broken. I believe he said to pull back the rubber boot and check the large black wire for breaks.

Don't know for sure, just passing this along.
