So I need new door seals for my 90, wind whistle on drivers door is driving me nuts! Read somewhere (of course now I can't find it!) that the 97+ doors seals fit and are much better than the earlier ones. Can anyone confirm this? What's the difference? I noticed the later ones are a little more money but can't find any other info.

 

97+ seals should work, the doors on all XJ's are pretty much identical. The trim, mirrors, and paint schemes on the outside change, but structurally they are pretty much the same.
