Having a little trouble getting the ignition cylinder out. Just wondering if anyone knows how to get it out. Just so I dont spend hours taking apart the column if I dont need to.

yea i saw that thread..and it was for an older jeep. Ive removed the ignition on a 88 cherokee but the 97 is different. I dont have the keys and need to put it in my garage to start working on it so im gonna pull the ignition and start it with a screwdriver...hehe

i googled 97 cherokee ignition removal last and found a couple of linksthe one i breifly read through seemed pretty tectnical just thought i let u know. good with the screw driver if it didnt help
