97 axle assembly to a 2001

97 axle assembly to a 2001

If one were to buy a whole axle assembly out of a 97 whether it a LP or a HP. BUT had the same gears. would it bolt up fine to my 2001?

ive searched and could not find a straight answer. i just want to be %100 before i go spend all of this money..

Yup would bolt right up!
I would opt for the HP though if you can find one

Why do you want to swap the one you have?

Probably because he has the LP being a 2001 wants to put in HP in currently looking to do the same thing sir Just want to find a good HP to swap in.

thanks for the quick replys!

the whole front axle in mine is blownnnnn. for just under $200 i can get a whole assembly WITH! a 12 month warranty. i just want to make sure im not going to buy something that will not fit.
