thanks for the tip to change the 3, found a good step by step write up on how to do this.

on a side note. but before i do more that i am not suppose to do. I have been reading to not run synthetic in these transmissions. why is that?
when i did the flush i need to check my bill to be sure, but i believe they used a synthetic.
I understand with engine oil once you go to synthetic you cant go back because of what it does to seals, is it the same with a transmission?

I actually found another posting showing a backyard flushing of them. Did that once and then replaced them later on via great buy on eBay from a major transmission group.

My transmission at one point would not get me to the end of my driveway. That was 18 months ago. Have fought some other transmission issues that I think were related to POs doing zero maintenance BUT the one thing I have learned is that these are tough transmissions.

If you can do these things and don't mind tossing a little money towards the issues then my recommendation is go for it!

forgot to get back to this one. solenoids fixed everything.

decided to go new and changed all 3 while i was at it. shifts normal now with no exceptions.
