Default 96 XJ lots of electrical issues

Hoping for some help here. My XJ worked great except for very minor things, but my exwife replaced the PCM while I was deployed, since then things constantly going out. When the shop programmed the PCM at first a few gauges did not work, then they did it again and been sporadic since. Is it all linked to PCM or something else?

-speedometer bounces all over the place when first driving
- power locks do not work (power coming out of relay and clicks when button pushed)
- temperature gauge does not work
- high beam indicator does not come on
- low washer fluid light stays on
- wipers only go very slow
- AC heat blower not working (I think I saw the connector was melted so I think I got this figured out)

It is literally one thing after another. I am going to check the grounds tonight as I read that can cause issues, but this is nuts. I am decent with cars, but horrid with electrical so bare with me.

You're right to check the grounds. Probably wouldn't hurt to clean the contacts on the connectors that hook up to the PCM as well.

Another thing that may help us diagnose....

Why was the PCM changed in the first place? What symptoms/issues was it having and how and by who was it diagnosed?

Grounds can "look" fine. Unless you have the ability to see electricity flowing, I suggest you remove them, clean til shiny/bare metal and reinstall tightly.

Thanks for the responses guys. The PCM was replaced because it was having starting issues. I was deployed and my exwife thought she was a mechanic since she was a computer engineer. Long story short she started with PCM when it was just a bad starter in the end.
