96 tranny to 97+

96 tranny to 97+
hi i have a 96 xj 5spd and i would like to know if it would be possible to put my pre 97 manny tranny into a 97+ auto? if so what parts would i need that wouldnt swap over like the computer ect.?

well i think there is 2 speed sensors in the 97+ auto tranny, so you will need to find a way to either tune it out or adapt it to the older tranny.
