I have a '96 Cherokee with the 4.0. In the under hood power distribution center, fuse number 18. There was no fuse in that location.
My check engine light is on and one of the things this fuse controls is the evap/purge solenoid. Would that cause the check engine light, no reverse lights, and the electric fan not coming on?
Can I just Take the negative terminal off the battery to make the CEL go away?
