96 exhaust manifold questions..
ok so i have a 96 cherokee with the tubular factory manifold or "header" what ever you may call it. i was told they are prone to cracking if they are quenched with water in the trails. well this is true as for i now have 3 major cracks in mine. mainly located near the flex part of the manifold. i was wondering if i could swap this tubular manifold out and install a cast iron one instead. would that withstand the abuse better and not be as likley to crack? or should i look into an after market " header" for it as i already have a borla exhaust on it? any advice would be much appreciated! thanks!

cast iron will reduce performance go with the after market nad make sure there a hanger supporting the exhaust good so the weight is not hanging on the header to much
thats what i was thinking, i was looking online and the headers arent too expensive. should i go with a stainless one or does it not really matter? and i had to replace some of the hangers as they went missing haha
