My 96 classic is sputtering at idle. when i accelerate it seems to smooth out but when I stop it runs smooth some and sputters some. My Plugs and wires are only 1 yr old. the sputtering is not constant, it sputters, it smothes out. I haven't checked anything yet. Where should I start?

 

basics. tune up, cap rotor plugs, check wires, air cleaner. check ccv(crank case vent). clean IAC/throtle body. check for vacuum leaks.

 

got any pics/video for cleaning throttle body and IAC. How/where do you check for vacuum leaks?
