96 4.0L motor install help!
So this is my first Jeep, and i'd have to say its been a pretty good rig, up until the original 4.0L blew a connecting rod out the side of the motor. Looked like someone was using a shot of Meth injection from Snow performance before.
Anyways, ripped the old motor out, went to put the new motor in, and it seems like its getting hung on the transmission.
Can anyone suggest any good way of installing this motor? Lowering it in, mounting options with the hoist, transmission hints?
Its a 96 Jeep Cherokee
Thanks guys!

I ended up pulling my transmission and transfer case to put mine in. I just bolted it together on the ground and installed as a single unit. If you don't want to do it that way, put a floor jack under tranny, unbolt the cross member and wiggle tranny and motor together, that way you have more range of movement.
