Default 95 vs 97 drivetrain compatability ?

I found a 97 2wd today with a great body/interior, new tires and rims with a 4.0 and 5 spd trans..........$500

The bad....... the radiator tank cracked, its been sitting for a year and the motor doesnt sound like it has any compression when spun over on a half dead battery.

I have a donor 95 4wd 4.0 w/ auto trans with a bad body and electrical issues but runs/shifts great.

I know they updated the body style between those years so were the transmissions used the same ones on 95's and 97's?

Also how much trouble is it to swap out the pedal assemblies between auto and manual?
