Hey there.

I bought an 95 XJ real cheap, needed some work done to it. I needed to replace some floorboards and weld the Manifold. Took me a long while to redo the interior but I got it done.

took it for a test drive and as fate would have it she died. With some sleuthing came to the conclusion it was the fuel pump, as per the lack of fuel in the rail ( also counting a clogged filter out.) But after checking the PDC with all the fuses and relays i found the Engine Control 1 30A fuse was blown. i replaced it and it blew instantly after trying to start.

I checked to see if there was exposed wire from the fuel pump because the general consensus says the fuel pump is on that circuit, but all the wires seemed intact.

To get to the point: What other componants are on this circuit?

I've seen what other components are on it mentioned, but it was very general. So im just asking for a direct list of whats on it.

Secondly, can a bad fuel pump blow the fuse? I've seen that mentioned in passing.

Any help would be appreciated.

 

O2 sensor, injectors, coil trigger circuit, TPS, IAC, anything powered through the PCM.
Unplug all, then plug each back in while checking the fuse.

 

I feel as though I should.just check the entire vehicle for exposed wire. with all those things might as well.
