Default 95 cherokee 4.0 dies ...no spark

My 2wd 4.0 has a problem I can't figure out.

It will die going down the road. When it does it won't restart right away. I check the coil and no spark from the coil.

I replaced the plug module in the distributor and the coil...

It only does it every now and then... will start later and seems to run fine till it looses spark...

Need to get this resolved as it is our only vehicle...

I have searched and the cps seems a regular problem but would that make it die underway?
