I noticed latelty that when I'm cruising at 65 in OD there is a rumble like it needs to shift to a lower gear. The transmission shifts okay so there is no probelm there. This Jeep has 90k miles and a lot of rust. Could the probelm be transmission or engine mounts? I had the transfer case rebuilt last year because it went dry, also replaced the U joints.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated. This is a great newsgroup. I am a Newbe and I'm learning a lot about my Jeep. It belonged to my father and it has a certain amount of sentimental value so I want to keep it running. It's also a great SUV .... fun to drive.
