95 2 door hinge issue
I'm helping out my 84 year old neighbor lady (no joke) with her drivers side door. The upper hinge weld has a small crack and the door does not seal properly with the weather stripping. Have seen the TSB indicating part number 05083060AA but cannot seem to find one of the kits.
Any ideas where to find the hinge repair kit. Thanks

You are describing my drivers door only 93 2 door. I have no real solution other than the stick on foam seals I put in to keep snow out.
I'll be paying attention to see how it can be fixed properly.

Door needs to be jacked up at bottom under handle, which will close back the crack and rewelded.https://www.google.com/webhp?sourcei...20door%20hinge

I had the pass door hinge break off totally when some jerk hit the window divider just right to crack windshield and do the door hinge. Have her take to body shop and have professionally welded if she can afford this. I had to hold door on with bungee straps for the ride to my body shop. Have her do this BEFORE the whole door comes off!!! Have her NOT open and close door until fixed otherwise she will be driving around with door in the back.

I found some rubberized stick on 5/8 D style weather striping at oreillys and stuck it to the door at the inside shoulder starting at the bottom of the trailing edge of the door all the way up and over the window opening and back down the front as I said on the inside shoulder of the door frame. it seals off better but there is still some wind noise, though far less than before.
