'95 and '01 cherokee sport fuel pumps interchangeable?

'95 and '01 cherokee sport fuel pumps interchangeable?
I'm trying to find out if I can use a fuel pump from my existing 2001 Cherokee Sport and replace it into the '95 Cherokee Sport. Are they interchangeable or can it be slightly modified to made to work or is that not possible? Both are 4.0 inline 6. Both 4dr and 4wd...????help???*
