I will go to start the jeep. it will crank and fire, but it will only idle for less than a second. If you hold the throttle down the jeep will still run. Ive changed the tps, maybe its the IAC?

P.S. Oh yeah it only happens on cold starts, also the problem goes away after the motors warmed up.

 

iac. pull it out and clean it with sensor cleaner (i tihnk thats what you use on it) and use a tooth brush. pull back the collar on it and you ought to see a bunch of gunk on it probably. wouldnt be a bad idea to check your air filter as well while your at it. if that doesnt solve the problem...well, i gave you my 2c

 

Alright. Il give it a cleaning, i know you cant pull/push/twist the plunger. if that doesnt have an effect i guess il replace it. Thanks! any input is still welcome
