Ok, I have a 65,000 mile 4.0 cherokee. It runs beautifully, except for sometimes it sputters, stalls, and jerks when you put it in drive. I mean bad, you can not go anywhere when it does it. The funny thing is, it does not do it all the time, and even when it does, it only does it in drive, i can put it in reverse and it'll burn rubber all the way across the parking lot, but put it in drive and it stalls or jerk-revs (like a clutch let out with too low rpm does). Yesterday i was stuck at the store for 20 mins trying to get it to stay running until it decided it was ready to run, and it went home ok with minor sputtering here and there.

I really need to fix this asap, this is my vehicle, and i'm taking the drivetrain and axles out to swap into my lifted 96 this weekend. If anyone can help I really need it! This is my first jeep.
