Working on a 94 Cherokee and an Intermittent fuel pressure issue. It will literally fire up first key crank and i can drive it 60 miles to work and back no issues intermittently , some days it will take 10 cranks and it will finally fire up and run good enough to drive. I did a new bosh fuel pump and fuel regulator on the fuel rail along with a new filter a few weeks ago. Fuel shoots out of the pressure line right at the rail if i disconnect it and prime the pump. Pressure gauge wont show pressure until its primed multiple times. When I did the fuel pump I made sure to replace the short hose and clamp it tight. I feel i have looked this thing up and down, wiggled harnesses. Looked into harnesses and swapped computers with nothing. looking for some advice thanks guys

 

At times when it struggles to turn over are you messing at all with the throttle pedal? Could be something with the TPS though idk based on what you've posted here. I know you just changed the fuel pump but keep in mind fuel pumps (at least in my experience) can be one of those things that simply fail even if new. I've had it happen on old Fords, a Wrangler, and a buddies XJ. Quick search here on the forms also was able to provide some other info of possible issues. It could be issues with an anti-drainback valve or something along the lines of a check valve issue. Read through this thread, it might help.
