94 Cherokee Drive shaft Help?
Sooo my 94 Cherokee's drive shaft locked up and flew off on the interstate due to a yoke problem. I fixed that but need a new shaft. So I have to go pull one from a Junk yard. I just don't know the specs for it. What specific models can I pull a shaft off and what is the stock length of the shaft? My cherokee has a 4.0 automatic with a 231 transfer case and a dana 35 rear.

You can use and shaft from a XJ with the 4.0, auto and D35, and some ZJ shafts. I think I hear the D35 and 8.25 use different yokes, Don't think the TC 231 vs 242 will matter. New shaft will cost about $100.. Other option would be a SYE, Hack n Tap would run about $100 plus a front shaft $50-100.
