hello im new to the forum and have some questions concerning swapping a 94 cherokee 2wd to a 4wd with a 89 Cherokee donor. My main question is there anything I need to be aware of when swapping or will I run into issue with using this 89 Cherokee 4wd donor. Thanks in advance for any help or advice. Also both Cherokee's are 6cyl auto and aware that I will need to swap tranny's.

 

I'm getting ready to do the same thing with a set of 96 cherokee and from all I have seen it's just time consuming. I have a 96 2 wheel drive with a blown motor and a wrecked 96 4 wheel drive with 102000 on it I'm using as a donor. When we get going on it I'll post pics and updates. Hope it goes easy for you.

 

Thanks man i appreciate it, i hope all goes well with you too. I actually got lucky with my donor i found it for $500 in running condition just needs fuel pump and has a lost title so figured it was a great deal for a donor
