94 4.0 Failure to run...

Not heat related this time.... Yesterday moring, fired up went to leave and stalled before getting out of drive way but it immediately refired...

Less than 1 mile, it stalled again and needed a little to get running after I looked under hood for any obvious issues with wire connections...

Went less than 1/3rd mile and it stalled and would not fire back up...

Notation... Check Engine light came on at or after second time stalling...

Where should I begin?

It is on charger now and i am ready to fire up my DVM and git after it...

Get codes first, go from there.

Almost sounds like coil or CPS. Most likely CPS.

Update...

Update... Cranked right up in the yard... Ran fine revved, blipped and otherwise paddled the peddle for a few minutes and let it run as I went under hood and determined alt function.

No CE light... Found a crack on negative batt connector.

How to check codes on a 94???
