So I am trying to install my new speakers, radio, subwoofers and all. I have a 4 door all manual. I made my doors removable. So I would like to put my speakers in the dash under the steering column where it looks like they could go.... Took the screws out and it's just for looks I guess.. I would like too. Any advice?

 

For going doorless, most people mount 5.25" or 6.5" speakers in the kickpanels or in another overhead soundbar. The kickpanels can be bought just for the XJ.
From the factory there is an option of dash speakers, but they are 3".
