92 laredo dies on right turns. fuel issue?

Default 92 laredo dies on right turns. fuel issue?

i have a 92 laredo with a 94's sport engine in it. only problem is, it likes to die going around right turns. i know its a fuel issue, i just dont know how to resolve it. any ideas?

under half usually. but ive driven many a others jeeps and had not had the same problem under the same conditions and same amounts of fuel in the tank.

I have the same issue not sure what it could be. Im running 31's I figured that it was rubbing on something to make it do that

Yea I would think it is more likely that you are rubbing on some wireing or something somewhere.

im runnin 31s as well, only thing is, there is no wiring of any sort, nor rubbing coming from any of the tires that could possibly interupt fuel flow.

Question - when turning, does it starve out immediately or part way through the turn?

If part way through, and a low tank, it indicates the fuel pump is clocked wrong. The pick-up is not pointing down, it's to the side.

No need to drain tank - remove the screws holding the pump in, slide it out. Position the pickup to the bottom, put it back in.

While it's out look at the short piece of hose on the pump. They often use cheap vacuum hose that dissolves in gas. Replace with QUALITY FUEL LINE, AND NEW CLAMPS.

It's about a 1/2 hour job.
