I recently purchased a bare bones 1991 cherokee a few months ago and the horn has never worked and I hate it. My previous XJ (also a '91) had a horn problem after I owned it for a while and I could here the relay clicking when I hit the horn button but no horn sound. The ground was bad on the horn(s) and the problem was fixed.
On my current XJ, there is no horn sound and no relay clicking sound either. I have read many forum write ups and still dont know where my horn relay is. I have read some are white and or some are a 3 prong style and that it is under the dash near the fuse panel. Or it is dangling near the steering column on the left side.
Can anyone post a pic of where the relay is or a link that will show.
I am posting some pics of under the dash and hoping someone can tell me if its in any of these pics and staring me right in the face. There is a grouping of relays in a socket that can hold three relays (the 5th pic) but there are only two relays in it and thats how it came. I have tried replacing all of them with new relays (even where there has never been a relay) and nothing has worked. Plus from what I have read, its not a normal 5 prong relay. I guess???

Sorry for the long thread and if the pic I took are no help. Its the only stuff under the dash that had any relays and wire connections. Theres wasnt much of anything on the right side

I know this is an old thread, but the answer is the relay on the far right of the 3(not the tan one) is the horn relay
