CEL came on, 9 - 10 v running.

I charged the new-"ish" battery fully and checked the "running" voltage at the terminals. Dropping like a rock.

I called the alternator shop, and he mentioned that the voltage regulator is in the "computer".

How do I check this? I don't want to throw a $120 rebuild at it to find out that I am still hunting a solution.

I pulled it.

I guess I will take it to the boxauto store in the AM for a test.
