91 Cherokee 4L Major knocking when decelerating
Hi
Recently purchased a 91 Cherokee 4.0L, when I lift of the throttle and decelerate (not hitting the brakes) I get a constant loud knocking/clanking sound that seems to be coming from the front wheels, goes away under load and braking, seemingly under the drivers footwell. I have the front axle off at the moment as I am replacing the inner axle seals, and also doing the axle u joints while I have it apart.
Definitely sounds suspension relating clanking, not engine
Any advice on where else to check while I have it off the road?
