Hello
I am new to this forum and so far is seems like it could be very helpful. I have in my possession a 1997 cherokee sport with the 4.0 liter and 5 speed manual tranny. This jeep was hydrolocked and therefore has a broken connecting rod. I also have a 1991 cherokee sport that has extensive front end damage but runs and drives ok. The 1991 has the 4.0 and 5 speed manual as well. I was wondering if anyone knows of any potential problems that may arise in performing an engine swap from a 91 to a 97. The head and block appear to be the same, some electronic components appear different. Thanks.
