The frame bottoms out over small bumps in the front. Is this normal? I changed out the shocks, but it made no difference, and the springs appear to be fine.

My 99 Grand does not do this over the same road/bumps but it is not 4wd.

You have bad springs. If your Jeep has stock fenders, measure from the bottom of the flare to the center of the wheel hub, post result. Post pics also.

 

Are the springs worn out? The ride height seems to be normal and isn't leaning.

I'll post pix tomorrow, am at work today/tonight.

 

Just measured... 171/2" from bottom of fender to center of hub.
