First post here could really use some help. Started off with having to put a new camshaft in my engine after lifter failure got the engine reassembled and back in the jeep, got everything hooked back up and it started great ran it for the lifters and cam break in aswell as bleed the cooling system had the jeep running for probably 30 minutes, then all of a sudden it just dead shut off like it lost all spark. So i started going throughout the ignition system making sure all the relays and fuses were good, made sure distributor hadnt moved and was still in time, then started back probing the coil made sure it had proper voltage as well as the cps, cleaned all my grounds and positive cables on all locations that i can see and think of, then i looked through all the wiring looking for any frayed or broken wires tore the whole harness apart essentially the only breaks i found was a melted o2 sensor, then thats went i got tierd of diag'ing it so i went the dumb route and replaced every sensor on the engine and as you can figure didint help so as for were i am now the coil only sparks 3 times then nothing while cranking then 3 sparks again like its only firing the coil on half the revolution, the only thing i can think of at this point is the flex plate came loose and ive been putting off having to yank the engine out again. Hopefully one of you folks who are way smarter than me could give a bit of guidance anything is appreciated
