Question 90 xj steering upgrade. OTK?? or not

well, was out in the Ga woods and bent the bejesus out of my connecting rod. ok, i had a spare but i think now is the time to upgrade it to something a little stouter. might even go with a OTK system.

any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

the ones i've seen so far are currie, x factor, and bulletproof steering.

thanks...

go to JCROffRoad (http://www.jcroffroad.com) They have a wicked cool 1-ton steering sys in either otk or utk, and also the parts to build one up yourself.

First welcome to the site..

For a good OTK set-up I'd say start by looking at Currie Enterprises and also check out JCR. Both are good strong set ups..

you mean a tie rod? if you bent a connecting rod your engine is screwed

There are many different companines that offer good complete setups, but i'd recomend looking into buying a reamer tool and getting fullsize chevy tre's and have someone make you the tube. If you have access to a welder and some minor fab skills you can get out much cheaper.
