Last week I poured a radiator flush into the cooling system and now the water pump is leaking. I plan to pick up a water pump from auto zone/advanced/auto parts. I just wanted to be sure an aftermarket replacement is okay to install??? Also, I've called around and have been asked what size the hub is?? 2.31" or 3.61". I did not take off the pump to measure but I wanna say its 2.31, can anyone confirm?

My 2nd question, since the belt and pump are being replaced, should i consider replacing anything else while i'm at it? Idle pulley, idle pulley bushing etc.... and is there anything I should be careful about while replacing these parts and installing a new belt? I don't want to mess up any of the other components/pulleys/idle pulley.

 

figured id bump this old thread since i gotta buy a pump also... i never knew there was two different ones... mines a 90 as well?
