Hello all,

I'm asking what needs to be done in order to swap interiors of my 2 XJs. My beater 1990 XJ actually has the nice red "Pioneer" interior while my 1993 DD has a sahara/beige/tan interior that I rather dislike.

I'd like to put the red interior in the DD and put the sahara in the beater. Is it possible? Surely most of the parts are the same, I noticed that the 93 has adjustable front seat belts, so that trim piece will be somewhat difficult to swap! How about the rest? Are there any notable interior differences between the 1990 and 1993 model years?

Well, someone could have told me that 93+ XJs have the tailgate stud bolts underneath! My 1990 has torx bolts facing up, so they're easier to unscrew, I can't reach the bolts on the 1993, I need to remove the rear bumper first!!
