Someone tried to break into my jeep and in turn destroyed my column. How they didn't get it started is beyond me but that's another story. I have a perfect 89 column all ready to go with keys and all but how easy is it to swap? I've heard some people say there's a few bolts in the engine bay and then a few under the dash and it slides right out. Is it really that simple or what else is involved? Thank you

 

4(?) Bolts at the firewall, 2 support bolts under dash, a couple harness connections, one bolt on the steering shaft.
I'd pull the front seat, makes it easier.
