After cracking years ago, the rear hatch handle (roughly round plastic handle with a tab at the bottom and the lock cyclinder in the center) finally broke off. The lock is still intact and still works but there's nothing to grab the door with. Anyone know where I can get a replacement.

Not sure if that's a Chrysler number or ?

 

If there is a Pull-A-Part or similar near you that is a really good place to check.

 

If you have to pull up on it from the handle, maybe your lift support struts are bad? My hatch pops right open once I press the button.

 

I drive back and forth to the ski hill and it's always raining when I leave and freezing when I get there which causes the doors the freeze shut - particularly the rear hatch.

 

That's probably going to be a junkyard part.... I should check my wrecked 97 I have sitting here. Anybody know if it would be a fit?

EDIT: I checked. It's not compatible. The 97 body makeover made it completely different.
