Alright heres my issue that has been agravating me for a while now. My xj will run fine but somtimes will just die and when i try to start it it will crank fine but wont hit a lick then after letting it sit for a few minutes it will fire up but when put into gear it will die even when the gas is to the floor. So far ive put a new rotor button and distro cap on, new batery, new terminals, new positive abd negative cables. I dunno what else to do its hard to diagnose it when it just does it randomly then when its running everything is fine

many people have felt this Renix 4.0 pain you are having but it is easy to over come with some time... the 1st thing I would do is read though the most common Renix problems... here is the Thread you can go through... they have help me and many others... you could have a grounding problem... or it could be a Crank postion sensor... but Read the Renix tips and if you have any questions... just ask

Thanks man ill take a look at it i also have some elcitcal issues with allmost everything my winsheild wipers dont work , turn signlas, radio, cigaret lighter amd dash lights. I checked the fuses none are blow so then i pulled the radio fuse out and a cuple other and discovered im not getting any power to the hot side on the fuse block im thinkin maybe a ground could cause that aslso
