Default 89 Jeep here parts or fix??

I bought this Jeep a few weeks ago for $400. The jeep is a 4.0l, Auto, 200k miles, 4dr, 4x4 1989 model. The engine runs strong! Now I drove it home then it started wobbling real bad on me. When I got home I made a list of things that i would have to replace JUST to try and get a title and legal for the road. Windshield (busted real bad), Front end missing all lights, rear end missing all lights, muffler/cat, rear view mirror. All of that would have to be replaced just to get an inspection done (I bought it off a farmer that had bought it from an auction). Also come to find out the state patrol is acting like since they didnt turn in the avidavit to get the title started because its in their name, that I may not be able to get a title, then that means I gotta try and work with these people to get the work done. But I gotta get it ready for the road to find this out so they can inspect it. What do you think guys? I know parting it out I should more than double my profit. Then maybe just buy me a 90s model for 1k with clean title and has wheels (because the ones on my cherokee are SHOT and all 4 are different and different sizes and different rims haha) and not all them problems. I really want my cherokee but doing all the calculations... To get it in decent shape to where it looks like I will spend around 1000-1500. And thats doing all the work myself. And I think I can find a cherokee around 90-95 for around a grand that is decent running with everything? Give me your input

if you have the title then just have someone else sign the back for the seller and then sign your name... it dont matter... but if you cant get a title then theres no point in fixing everything... make it a trail rig... or part it out... if you part it out your going to get the money alittle at a time and i can almost bet youll spend it as you get it... so in the end you wont have any vehicle... nor the money to buy one...
