Unhappy 89 cherokee wont start tried all the usuals

ive replaced the cps the control modual checked alternater batterie is good changed out distributer checked the fuel pressure at the rail and was getting 40 psi and continuasly i need help the is spark and there is fuel what is left that i can do im too frustrated

spray starting fluid in the intake... if it starts its a fuel issue... if it doesnt start then its a ignition issue...

then its iglition tried starting fluid several time what part of the igtion am i forgetting?

Cap, rotor, check for spark at the plugs, timing, shorted wires. Or, (rare, but possible) the CKP (cam sensor) located somewhere inside the distributor (I dont know where exactly, never had a problem with it)

ive seen alot of people on here where the cause of there jeep not running was the distributer... just helped a guy like day before yesterday cause his was missing and he swapped in a distributer and was good to go... you may have spark at all the plugs but it may not be firing strong enough... or in the right order...

ive tried three distributers can it be the main brain computer?

i havent seen anything about the coil yet? maybe the computer... but that about covers it... lol

replaced coil and computer today still the same

well... maybe a or all fuel injectors are not firing... not getting there electrical crap needed... it does turn over though right? lol... have to ask...

This may sound simple, but I haven't seen anyone mention the starter/solenoid yet, have you checked them? Is the vehicle even trying to start?

im in the same boat ive changed my ICM, STATOR, CAP, ROTAR, WIRES AND NEW PLUGS can it be timing since i took out the distributer? but mine wont start either but im thinking my issue is timing im getting fuel and spark just wont kick over...

i hav brand new starter and it turns over great just no fire it sound like 1 or 2 holes are trying to defenenty igtion i pulled the fuelrail with injecters had a friend spin the motor and all six injectors are working great im so lost dont have eny idia what to do this is the most problems ive ever had getting a rig to run

if u pulled out your starter... and rolled the jeep or turned the motor over or didnt stick the distributpr facing the same way then yes... your timing is going to be off...

now back to the OP...
